About The Dealership

 

Here are a few highlights as to our dealership history. It all began in 1980 when Garage JL Bouchard was sold to Mr. Evan Moffitt therefore becoming Bayside Chrysler Dodge. At the time it was decided for the dealership to remain in Sheila under the management of Claude Mallais.

It is not before 1988 that the construction of the new dealership got started in Tracadie bringing along the final move to our present location in the spring of 1989.

Then in 1992, the company purchased the Jeep-Eagle brand therefore joining Bayside Chrysler Dodge along with a new management under Mr. O'Neil Robichaud.

Then in 2005, Jason Moffitt became the new successor of Bayside Chrysler Dodge and the business name was then officially changed to Bayside Chrysler Dodge Ltd.

In April of 2006, Mike Lacroix took over the reigns as new General Manager and by 2007 Mike struck a partnership agreement with Jason Moffitt therefore seeing him named Vice-President and Co-Owner of Bayside Chrysler Dodge Ltd.

It is under his leadership that certain major changes are implemented: a new service counter to better serve our customers, a new waiting area in the service department, a brand new and complete double wash bay and of course the addition of modernized and state of the art service equipment.

As it is mostly the case, all great things do come to an end and in April of 2016 Mike Lacroix gets tempted by retirement, which is primarily the reason for the arrival of our new General Manager - Associate Daniel Brazeau.
